3-4-5 Right Triangles
This is a special case of right triangles, which are usually treated with the Pythagorean Theorem. If the right triangle has sides in a 3-4-5 pattern (or with multiples of 3-4-5, such as 6-8-10 or 30-40-50), you can usually answer the question directly, without calculations.
