QUESTIONS
QUESTIONS
1. What is the least common factor of 6 and 21?
2. What is the least common multiple (or factor) of 4 and 7?
3. What is the least common multiple of 7 and 9?
ANSWERS
1. 42. Nothing lower is a multiple of both numbers.
2. Multiply each number by 1, 2 etc. until you get a common number. In this case it would be 28 = 4 x 7 = 7 x 4.
3. 63, which is 9 x 7. No smaller number works.
