Undefined Expressions
When is an algebra expression "undefined" ?
Undefined means division by zero. The expression must be a fraction with a denominator. You have to see which values of x (or something) would produce a denominator of zero.
For example, suppose the denominator of the expression were (x-2) times x. In that case division by zero would occur when x = 0 and when x = 2. These two numbers are the answer.
