Inequalities
There are two kinds of test questions about inequalities. One kind involves numbers only. You can do them on the TI-30SX calculator. (The other kind involves algebraic expressions, and is covered here.)
A test question may ask whether one number (or combination of numbers) is greater than, equal to, or less than another number (or combination of numbers). To find out, you can use the calculator to subtract the right number (or combination) from the left number (or combination). If the difference is positive, the left side is greater. If the difference is negative, the right side is greater. If the difference is zero, the two sides are equal.
